The Dragon Flower Assembly is an important event for humanity that will take place in the future under the guidance of Maitreya Buddha. This is a significant concept found in many religions, including Mahayana Buddhism, Hoa Hao Buddhism, Caodaism, and other sects.
The Dragon Flower Assembly is known for the information that when Maitreya Bodhisattva descends and sits under the Dragon Flower tree to attain Buddhahood, He will initiate the Dragon Flower Assembly and teach sentient beings. It is believed that the assembly begins during the period of the Great Dragon Flower Assembly, which is the final judgment for the conferral of Buddhahood.
However, information about the Dragon Flower Assembly remains somewhat unclear. Therefore, this lecture aims to help you connect knowledge about the Dragon Flower Assembly from various religious perspectives, particularly by exploring its true essence through decoding the prophecies of Lord Trạng, regarding this assembly, from 500 years ago.
Minh Nguyet: Venerable Buddha, I have studied the Dragon Flower Assembly and learned that Maitreya Buddha will preside over it. It is said that He will be born into this world, sit beneath the Dragon Flower Tree, and attain Buddhahood. Venerable Buddha, may I ask if this is true?
The Dragon Flower Assembly will take place after the Dragon Cloud Assembly and the Dragon Court Assembly. To understand more about the Dragon Flower Assembly, you may study the prophecies of Lord Trạng.
Lord Trạng Trình, also known as Nguyễn Bỉnh Khiêm, was an incarnation of Dipankara Buddha, the fourth Ancient Buddha in the universe, assisting God the Almighty in governing all matters. Because of this, he foresaw future events and left behind prophetic verses about the Dragon Flower Assembly, including:

“Transformation into a dragon” (Hóa rồng) symbolizes sentient beings who have undergone countless lifetimes of cultivation. This is the moment when Maitreya Buddha will guide them forward, helping them ascend to spiritual attainments corresponding to their virtues and efforts.
That is correct! Maitreya Buddha will manifest in the form of a Buddha. You must strive to cultivate your hearts and minds to prepare for the Dragon Flower Assembly.
First, practice the mind of a Sage before the Assembly. From attaining the Sage’s fruit, one must undergo further trials and cultivation, facing greater challenges to progress toward the attainment of Buddhahood.
Practicing the Mind of a Sage
- Live with compassion and forgiveness.
- Uphold the Five Precepts in a flexible and adaptable manner.
- Engage in self-reflection and strive to refine yourself each day, becoming more noble in character.
- Persevere through hardships: When facing trials, recognize them as tests and make an effort to overcome them.
Even in difficult times, never lose your determination, for if you become discouraged and disheartened, it will be seen as failing the test.
Remember, when facing challenges, keep your mind still and tranquil. Only when the mind is calm can the mind of a Sage be awakened. At that moment, the higher beings will transmit thoughts or offer guidance to help resolve difficulties.

🍃 Conclusion
Through research, Minh Nguyet has learned that the Dragon Cloud Assembly (Hội Long Vân) took place on April 15, 2022 (lunar calendar) and lasted for seven consecutive days. The upcoming event will be the Dragon Court Assembly (Hội Long Đình), followed by the Dragon Flower Assembly (Hội Long Hoa).
- The Dragon Cloud Assembly took place in the invisible realm, orchestrated and organized by Lord Trạng Trình. It served as a gathering of celestial beings in heaven and immortal sages currently incarnated in human form on Earth.

For a fish to transform into a dragon, it must leap over the Dragon Gate (Vũ Môn)—a metaphor for the arduous path of cultivation, spanning countless lifetimes. Thus, we must awaken together, strive to understand our origins, and deeply comprehend the Four Noble Truths while diligently practicing the Noble Eightfold Path.
Let us prepare for the arrival of the Dragon Flower Assembly, where Maitreya Buddha will guide and enlighten sentient beings, leading us step by step toward spiritual attainment on the path to Buddhahood.
