This beautiful 1982-D Large Date is the last of the copper (bronze) pennies minted for general circulation. 1982 was the transitional year; most 1982 pennies are zinc, not bronze. This coin has mint mark over mint mark (D/D) and doubling on the date and obverse lettering as shown in the photos.
