this unit will power on and try to eject the cd that's stuck in it eventually giving a disc error w/o ejecting the disc. also the sound will not come out through the speakers when the radio is turned on HOWEVER it DOES put out audio through the headphone jack so an external set of speakers with a 3.5mm connector could be used for radio. the remote works fine it changes stations etc.
