Absolutely stunning pair of masquerade masks hand painted in New Orleans by artist "Theresa". One features balloons and feathered dramatic eye liner, and the other is about 1/4 black with stars and similar flared black eyeliner. Beautiful attention to detail in the makeup that was applied. Glossy finish and glossy, "juicy" pair of lips on both of the masks, as well as holes on either side of the temples, for adding ribbon for both display and an accent.
Purchased as a souvenir, and then stored in a craft closet. Original maker sticker and price tags still attached on one of the masks. The other just has the same signature of "Theresa".
Condition: Vintage New, Never Displayed. Excellent condition. There are a couple small chips to the underside rim of the mask, but there are NO cracks, chips, breaks, etc., to the areas seen while displayed.
