Vintage Royal Winton Grimwades Summertime Teacup Saucer Creamer and Sugar Set- England. Grimwades pottery, founded in 1885, operated from 1900-1964 producing a wide range of tableware pottery items out of Stoke-on-Kent. Royal Winton, made by Grimwades, was added in the early 20th century when King George V and his wife, Queen Mary patronized the Grimwades products, therefore adding 'Royal ' to the name. The 'Summertime' pattern, a bouquet of English countryside summer flowers, was the second chintz pattern and became the most successful of the more than sixty patterns produced there after C 1932 - 50. Perfect for country garden decor.
