This is a very RARE antique and what a find it is! Excellent antique condition. Some antique age spots that blend in with the color of the pieces. A few unnoticeable corner scrapes. One little crack that does not go through. Please see all the pictures
This chess dome/plate is called Chrysanthemum, the floral art is handprinted & exquisite. Work of art from the Victorian period when this earthenware was made by W&R Stoke on Trent, England.
The two families who first owned this company were Wiltshaw & Robinson. The company operated from 1890 to 1958. These are very early pieces made when they were making Victorian designs prior to adding Carlton Ware, designs that were considered more updated for the time; Carlton Ware stamped on them.
The pieces you are getting are stamped with the maker information along with two different numbers,No. 187326
No. 213522. There are no markings on it saying “Carlton Ware”
