Absolutely stunning 1950s vintage couture Alix of Miami cocktail dress, size Medium based on measurements: 16" armpit to armpit laid flat, 14" waist laid flat, 18" at hips, 14.5" top of shoulder to waist, 19" waist to bottom hem.
As with all couture, it's all about the details and construction, and this piece is no exception: subtle crinoline in the short sleeves keeps them looking fresh and in-place, built-in bust support, the wonderful woven looking work on the bodice, the fabulous fabric in its lush pattern (no materials tag, but feels like a cotton/silk blend).
This piece is in Excellent condition with no noted flaws or signs of wear.
