Suzy was born in Memphis and moved to California when she was two. She grew up in the small artist town of Laguna Beach. Her mother was a watercolorist and sculptor and her father started the Art School in Laguna and was a board member for the Festival of Arts for over fifty years.
Suzy resided in Makawao, Maui for seven years and established herself as a well loved portrait artist. She has now moved to the Big Island near Hilo. Suzy has received many honors: best in show for the East Bay Watercolor Society and The Great Makawao Paint Out. She has had many one woman shows and has been a part of many juried shows like the prestigious Art Maui and the Hui No’eau Annual.
The original painting of this work has been purchased for collection.
