Art deco bronze statue of an athlete raising an Olympic wreath on a marble base. Given the style of sculpture and the clothing depicted on the athlete, this bronze is sometimes noted as originating at the infamous WWII 1936 Berlin Olympics as a souvenir trophy.
Some aging and patina to the bronze as shown in the photos. There is also some chipping and staining to the marble base as shown in the photos. Felt mat from the underside of the base is missing.
