1977 introduced the first of the Little People series with the #942 Lift & Load Depot.
One side of the building has a crank-operated bucket conveyor that lifts cargo up a slanted ramp, dumps, then returns to the bottom for more. There’s a trolley crane that moves along a track on top to transport cargo. The crane has a chain and hook that lifts cargo from the ground to the upper level warehouse. A gas pump on the side of the building keeps the vehicles fueled for work.
Includes the cargo "hopper" or lift bucket, cargo lifting sling cage & chain attached to trolley car. Also includes 3 Original Trucks all with rolling wheels and seat for 1 Figure: Dump Truck has Spring-loaded bucket that tilts, Front Loader (Scoop Loader) has a spring-loaded bucket on front that moves up and down & Forklift front Fork also moves up and down. 2 Construction Workers, an Oil Drum Barrel, & 2 WoodCrates
