Vintage Original Movie Poster One Sheet (1978) for the cult classic Sci-Fi action-adventure thriller “Battlestar Galactica” starring Lorne Greene, Richard Hatch & Dirk Benedict. Note that this film was created from the pilot for the 1978 TV series of the same name. The pilot, budgeted at $8 million (one of the most expensive at that time), was theatrically released in Sensurround sound.
An original vintage one sheet size (27”x41”) unrestored poster in very fine condition with an excellent thrilling montage design. The images in this poster look fantastic when displayed. The terrific artwork really capture the excitement of this science fiction action-adventure. There is minor fold & border wear. Please see images for more details. The poster is folded but displays extremely well.
Despite initially failing to find a wide audience, Battlestar Galactica developed a cult following. The show spawned a media franchise which includes comics, theme park attractions, games, & a re-imagined
