A truly unique piece!

Grab this pair of antique flat sad irons, likely originally crafted in the 1800s, and later upcycled by an artist local to Connecticut!

The irons, marked with "N6" and the raised image of a bird (possibly a swan or crane), each weigh in at over 4 pounds! Both were painted by an artist who only signed it as "Jeanne" with the beautiful image of cherries growing. Each side of the iron has been painted yellow with red highlights, as visible in the gallery.

One of the irons has suffered much more damage as its previous owner reportedly used it as a doorstop, leading to scratching and wearing of the original image. The second iron appears untouched and in nearly perfect shape from its original paintjob.

Irons come in as-seen condition. Measure 7 inches long, 4 inches wide, and 4 inches tall laying on its flat side.
