The vase features a panel with Geisha Girls in traditional attire within a landscape, possibly depicting a scene of daily life or a narrative. The upper portion has a distinct, textured glaze and bold floral or geometric patterns. Gold inlay around scene and geisha girls
These vases are commonly used for decorative purposes, either to hold flowers or branches, or as standalone statement pieces in a room.
Potential Origin:
While often referred to as "Satsuma," similar styles were also produced in China, sometimes using transferware techniques for the outlines with hand-applied colors. Small chip on the rim and gold inlay worn from age around the base too (See Photos)
