This rare, vintage cookbook--The Kenya Kitchen Cookery Book--was compiled by Elizabeth M. Giles in September 1964. She writes "In compiling this book it has been my aim to offer the housewife a collection of recipes, tested and adapted to East Africa...the dishes, which are simple and inexpensive to prepare, make use of the wide variety of local produce which is readily available in Kenya."
Vintage paperback cookbook was published in Nairobi, Kenya with full color photography by Palle Artler Ltd. (Nairobi). Cookbook measures approximately 9 5/8" H x 7 1/8" W x .25" D and contains 96 pages. Cookbook is in very good condition (clean/tight - no writing) with the exception of a name written on page 3 (see photo #4).
