This is one of the coolest statue hand carved wooden one of a kind haven’t been able to find any like it anywhere but the artist was so skilled I bought it at an estate sale and she had so much art this piece stuck out I almost kept it I didn’t see a signature but it’s dark blue I bet the artist signed it somewhere it’s so beautiful in person the detail in this black boys face and his pen or pencil sticking up as he’s writing just a beauty no flaws he’s in great condition and vintage I’d say 80s or early 90s no later than that could even be 70s
