Scott # 2074 The stamp depicted is a 20-cent U.S. postage stamp issued in 1984 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Soil Conservation Service. It is Scott catalog number 2074. The stamp's design, by Michael David Brown, features a stylized hand holding a plant, with bands of color symbolizing layers of water and soil.
