Vintage Mayan Apron Embroidered Indigenous People Birds Green Small Medium Art!

Such an amazing Mayan folk art piece, a vintage apron, I believe from South or Central America, likely Guatamala. The background in a rich teal (I think cotton) + is adorned w/ hand embroidery of people doing traditional work + birds. In pristine condition. Sewing details are incredible, w/ 3D elements.

This would be a fab housewarming gift or for you when entertaining. Also wonderful for someone who enjoys wearing traditional, folk, or artsy dress. Due to how unique the apron is, it's hard to provide modern measurements. I tried it on a few people + it will fit up to a women’s Small or Medium. Shoulder straps are long to accommodate many heights + are easily pinned or tucked in.

I suggest hand washing in cold water, line drying + then steaming / ironing.
