Columnar shaped stem which have gray sharp spines. The leaves are a round shape. During the dry season you may notice it loose some of it’s leaves. It does so to focus growth and health on the rooting system. Some people will periodically spray the leaves to retain them. Super fast grower, can grow up to 2 feet in a season. These are considered a rare plant. Really is a beautiful plant. Prefers direct sunlight, water only when dry. Can be grown indoors but will need a sunny spot. Six individual stems in this pot. Blooms a red cluster of flowers on tip of stems.
Plant in a fast draining cacti soil. Be sure to use a pot that has drainage holes. Water only when soil is entirely dry. Do not allow to stand in water.
I do not ship plants in pots. I find it is easier on the plant as well as saves money on shipping costs.
